The project
A production becomes
a place for my work.
For The Hidden Master Taebaekho, a drama produced by 37th Degree, I planned, produced and supplied products worn in the series.
The project connects product-making with visual storytelling: the pieces exist as physical objects and as details within a character’s world.

Learning to listen.
The Hidden Master Taebaekho is a Korean drama that combines comedy and investigation with a story about social isolation. After losing his chance to become a police officer and struggling to find work, Tae Baek Ho joins a foundation that helps young people who have withdrawn from the outside world.
Working with an unconventional team, he encounters people whose experiences challenge his assumptions. Each case brings a different story of disconnection, shifting the focus from judging someone’s withdrawal to understanding the person behind it.

The agreement & briefing
Making the collaboration
concrete.
The collaboration included a signed agreement with Kimbo Kim, Executive Director of the production and Founder & CEO of 37th Degree.
The briefing brought character references and product ideas together, connecting the story’s context with the pieces to be made.
A small detail.
Part of a bigger story.

Made to be worn.
Seen in context.
A product photograph shows the piece itself. A film still shows how it lives within the story. Together, they connect the finished work to its use in the production.
The white embroidered T-shirt and the bag shown below are two examples of the project’s products appearing on screen.
The production setting
Working within
a shared production.
This was a commercial collaboration with a production team. My contribution focused on the products: their planning, production and delivery.
The photographs document the pieces alongside the environment in which the series was made.
